A Palestinian man who attempted to stab a female Israeli police officer at Shaar Shechem in Yerushalayim’s Old City today was shot dead.
Boruch Hashem, the officer was not injured.
The man had approached a group of officers holding a knife and was shot.
Police found three knives in the possession of the potential terrorist, who is a 28-year-old from Jordan who had entered Israel yesterday via the Allenby crossing.
This was the first attack at Shaar Shechem in almost half a year.
