A 50-year-old female Palestinian woman attempted to commit a stabbing attack on Israeli border policemen in Yerushalayim this morning.
According to the police, the attacker approached the border policemen in the Old City, took a knife out of her bag and then attempted to stab the policemen.
The attempted attack took place on Rechov Chagai near Rechov Barzel, close to SHaar Shechem.
The terrorist was shot and seriously injured by officers in the area.
She subsequently succumbed to her wounds.
No Israelis were hurt in the incident, boruch Hashem.
