A roadside bomb was exploded this morning on the road between Otniel and Beit Chagai in the Har Chevron area.
While a car being driven by a woman passed, a terrorist, said to be wearing a mask, detonated the IED. The explosion caused slight damage to the vehicle.
The attacker – who may have worked with an accomplice – had reportedly filled a piece of cargo lying on the side of the road with explosive and sticky materials. The terrorist detonated it as the car went by, leaving a sticky residue on the exterior of the vehicle.
The woman, who resides in nearby Otniel, was boruch Hashem, not hurt and continued driving until she reached Kiryat Arba.
The condition of the terrorist is unknown at this time.
