[Graphic images below] Terror has returned to Shaar Shechem in Yerushalayim this morning, as two police officers and one another person were hurt after being stabbed by a Palestinian assailant a short while ago.
Shaar Shechem has become a flash point for Palestinian terrorism, with several stabbing attacks there, in Yerushalayim’s Old City, in the last week alone.
This morning’s lone attacker, 20-year-old Muhammad Abu Chalaf of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Kafr Aqab, was shot by security forces.
One border police officer and the other officer were transported by Magen David Adom to Shaare Tzedek Medical Center.
The third person who was injured is a fifty-year-old Palestinian woman, an East Jerusalem resident, who was lightly hurt when officers shot the terrorist and bullet fragments ricocheted and hit her.
