An attack in Petach Tikvah took place earlier today, when an Arab terrorist brandished a knife and went about attacking fellow patrons at a pizza parlor.
The attacker managed to stab one person before he was taken down by a worker at the shop, who used a heavy pizza tray to knock down the terrorist.
Police arrived at the scene, where the attacker explained he was inspired to attack Israelis following the tense al-Aqsa crisis.
The victim, however, was a fellow 40-year-old Arab, who was hospitalized in serious condition.
