A Palestinian terrorist hit a Border Police officer and two soldiers with a vehicle on Tuesday at Tapuach Junction in the West Bank, which has been the site of terror attacks on numerous occasions, Ynet reports.
Three victims were lightly wounded and one was wounded moderately. The terrorist was shot and moderately wounded. MDA took him for medical treatment.
Magen David Adom spokesman Zaki Heller said at the scene that “the three victims are fully conscious. They were wounded in the limbs and one has a head injury. Our staff will evacuate them to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva.”
Ynet reports that the soldiers wounded in the attack were patrolling the area and went to the intersection where border policemen were stationed being before hit by the vehicle.
The attack was the seventh in the ongoing wave of terror to occur at Tapucah Junction. It came the day after Private Ziv Mizrachi was murdered by a 16-year-old Palestinian in a stabbing attack.
