I’m surprised that Rav Amnon Yitzchak didn’t register any
he did. he just didn’t make it in
Party Seats Percent Votes
UTJ :7 5.30% 189,666
HaTnua :6 5.03% 189,666
Something doesn’t figure here.
Something is wrong with some of the numbers.
First of all, Balad did not get 5.
Also, you have UTJ and HaTnua with the same amount of votes.
Reb A Believer:
Apparently people didn’t want to do against the ruling of the sanhedrin.
unfortunately, r’ amnon didn’t get enough votes to have his party go over the threshold, it’s a real “chaval”, as he’s a great leader, and would’ve done lots for the benefit of klal yisroel in E”Y
If 120 seats have to be filled and the seats won by Rav Amnon Yitzchak and Rav Amsallem don’t get in, how does it work?
Do they divvy up the seats amongst everyone else by the percentage of the overall vote they garnered? Or will Rav Amnon and Rav Amsallem get to redeem themselves by contributing their seats to Shas?
Do the numbers shown here already reflect the votes the nonqualifying parties will be giving to everyone else?
It would be nice to see an article explaing how this works and how many votes it takes to get a seat..
wish r amnon made it any idea how many votes he got?
BS’D
THE BAAL TSHUVA HAS TO DO TSHUVA
When a party fails to reach the threshold, those votes are lost. That is the risk when voting for a small party.
