The Lelover Rebbetzin zt”l

candle-small6It is with great sadness that we report the passing of the Lelover Rebbetzin, Rebbetzin Leah Yuta Biderman a”h, who passed away last night at the age of 78. The Rebbetzin, wife of the Lelover Rebbe, Rav Shimon Biderman zt”l, had collapsed last month while staying at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Rav and Rebbetzin Yisroel Ernster, and was taken to Tel Hashomer Hospital, where she remained for several weeks until her petirah.

Levayos for the Rebbetzin were held in Yerushalayim and Bnei Brak. The Rebbetzin was buried on Har Hazeisim in Yerushalayim near her husband, who passed away last year on Yom Kippur after serving as Lelover Rebbe for 22 years following the petirah of his father, Rav Moshe Mordechai Biderman zt”l.

The Rebbetzin is survived by her three sons, the admorim of Lelov, Rav Aharon Biderman of Beis Shemesh, Rav Eliyahu Biderman of Bnei Brak and Rav Yaakov Biderman of Yerushalayim, and her daughters, Rebbetzin Gold, Rebbetzin Kornreich, Rebbetzin Bochner, Rebbetzin Gross, Rebbetzin Ernster and Rebbetzin Leifer.
