hurricane-sandy3Dear Editor,

I wish to give public recognition and thanks to Accentuations by Design of Boro Park, NY.

Last week, I was one of over 20 flood victims who received a beautiful, completely free bedroom or dining room set. Accentuations gave us brand new sets, not scratched-up floor samples. They gave us a choice of three amazing sets – valued between $3,200 and $5,600 and not just sets they can’t sell. They did not pressure us to look at their other beautiful furniture or make any purchases whatsoever. They said that they would even store for us it for two months until we settle in a new home.

This is truly an amazing, pure act of chessed.
May Hashem repay them for their unbelievably, generous support of their brothers and sisters in need.

Mi ke’amcha Yisroel.

A.D.

  1. Beautiful.
Truly, mi k’amcha Yisroel. May these and all the other acts of chessed done during and in the aftermath of the hurricane stand in Klal Yisroel’s zechus at this critical time.

  2. Amazing. Thank you for sharing. Hashem should help you in your recovery and help Accentuation’s get more and more customers so they can continue to do well and with that help others .

  3. I would also like to commend Toys 2 Discover on 18th Ave in BP. On Sunday at 9:00 am hundreds of families were treated to their generousity. Lots toys were handed out with no questions asked, given in a dignified way. Bringing a smile to children who have lost enough.

  4. Beautiful..
Those who have connections in Eretz Yisroel, families are homeless, without possessions, even food and basics as they move from place to place avoiding the rockets, scuds and missiles.
