It is with great sadness that we report the passing of the previous Slonimer Rebbetzin a”h today. She was 91. The nifteres, Rebbetzin Chava Miriam Berezovsky a”h, was the wife of the previous Slonimer Rebbe, the Nesivos Sholom, Rav Shalom Noach Berezovsky zt”l, and a daughter of the Birchas Avrohom of Slonim.
The Rebbetzin had fallen ill six months ago and her condition deteriorated last month, before her petirah today.
The levaya will take place at the Slonimer Yeshiva on Rechov Salant in Meah Shearim at 10 p.m. Kevurah will take place on Har Hazeisim.
The Rebbetzin is survived by her son, the Slonimer Rebbe, and his brother Rav Yitzchok. Her daughters are Mrs. Luria, wife of Rav Yisroel Luria; Mrs. Weinberg, wife of Rav Shlomo Weinberg; and Mrs. Kaplovitz, wife of Rav Yisroel Kaplovitz. The three sons-in-law of the rebbetzin all hold positions in the Slonimer Yeshiva in Yerushalayim.
