The Wait is Over this Motzoei Shabbos

oorahthonThis Motzoei Shabbos, May 16, is THE night.

For months now, you’ve been reading and rereading the Oorah auction catalogue, going over the prizes again and again.

Your family members are threatening to move out, exasperated by your verbatim recitations of the prize descriptions.

“Ok, everyone, I decided to put five tickets on number 44 – $6,000 check – feel your spirits soar as you head to the bank with $6,000 to splurge or save. Or wait! Should I rather put in for $36,000, with less chances of winning more, or into the $6000, with more chances of winning less?”

And your non-stop Fiveish impersonations are slowly driving them insane.

But, thankfully for you and for them, the unbearable anticipation is almost over. (And time is running out for last-minute entries to the Oorah Auction!)

Here’s what’s planned for the event of the year:

Fiveish hour – the Oorahthon starts with a solid hour of… Fiveish!!

The Shidduch Roundtable – renowned shadchanim discuss all you ever wanted to know, and then some, about shidduchim. Guest visit by founder of the NASI project, R’ Moshe Pogrow.

The Shark Tank – watch as three representatives from Oorah try selling their pitches to auction donors, and see which program gets the most money out of the donors.

And of course – the PRIZE DRAWINGS!!

This extravaganza is being co-hosted by none other than Elchanan Schwartz along with our very own Avraham Krawiec.

So this Motzai Shabbos, tune in to the Oorahthon!

The Oorahthon is being broadcast live on WABC 770 AM | WMCA 570 AM | JROOT 95.1 FM | Lakewood – 107.9 FM.

Don’t miss it!
