The Yanky Ostreicher Travesty Continues

Yesterday, the 22nd hearing for Yanky Ostreicher was an exact replica of the June 11th hearing.

42 days ago, when the last hearing took place, the judge was asked to recuse himself from the case. While still waiting for the higher court to decide, another hearing was scheduled with a different judge. The legal advisor of the Minister of Government asked the judge to recuse herself on the grounds that she could not be impartial. The judge refused but referred it to a higher court.

Can it be any more obvious?

The Minister of Government is trying to avoid allowing Yanky  to stand in front of the judge and get a fair hearing.

Yanky went back on the bus to prison where he spent the past 14 months. His family and close friends are shocked by the proceedings, and are pleading with the State Department to put more pressure. So far no new date has been scheduled.
