The Tikvah Institute for Yeshiva Men is continuing to accept applications for its latest summer program, “Right, Left, and the Jews: The Torah Community and the Future of American Politics.” For the third year, bochurim and yungerleit ages 20-35 will convene to study advanced political theory and the philosophy of American politics. The program is fully subsidized by the Tikvah Fund and offers a learning stipend, as well.

This year’s institute will take place at the Tikvah’s headquarters in New York City on August 15-18 (11-14 Av). The speakers again include renowned teachers and talmidei chachomim, each delivering presentations on the role of Am Yisrael among modern societies in which they live.

This year’s Tikvah speakers include Rav Ahron Lopiansky, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva of Greater Washington, Rabbi Aaron Kotler, CEO of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, New Jersey, and leading U.S. political analyst, William Kristol, also editor of the Weekly Standard magazine. Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein of the popular blog Cross Currents and the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, will again serve as program dean. Tikvah’s executive director, Mr. Eric Cohen, will be the anchor faculty member.
