1,500 Shuls!
Yes, Over One Thousand, Five Hundred Shuls across the world, have signed up to join the revolution, and many more are joining as time goes on.
Yes, the remarkable campaign to bring awareness to good Jews everywhere about the importance of not talking in Shul during davening, is spreading rapidly and making a real difference in the decorum of Shuls everywhere, and bringing K’vod Shomayim to the world on a tremendous level.
Chazal tell us that Tefilah is one of the most exalted things in the world – a privilege we have to talk directly to Hashem multiple times each and every day – yet, sadly, it is something that is not taken seriously by too many otherwise upstanding Yerei Shomayim.
It has been that way in the times of Chazal, it was still that way in the times of the Tosfos Yom Tov, who fought against this epidemic with all his might, and it remains that way until today in the Twenty First century.
But it’s changing. The revolution is here and it is gaining momentum. 1,500 Shuls are already participating, and a historic Asifah is being planned to give those already part of it the Chizuk they need to continue, and to encourage many others – shuls as well as individuals- to get on the Kvod Shomayim bandwagon.
The Mezamrim choir, as well as a special guest from Jerusalem, Cantor Tzvi Weiss will perform at the event, which is free of charge, and open to men aged 21 and older. A full dinner will be served, not just cake and soda, or even a buffet, no, a full lavish meal will be served to all who attend. Over a thousand participants are expected, and only a certain amount of tickets will be distributed. Advance registration is required via the website, www.ShulKinus.com
1,500 sounds like a large number of shuls indeed, but the revolution is just getting started, and won’t be done until every last shul, in every city across the world is part of it, and through this enable the true Bais Hashem, the third Bais Hamikdash, to finally rebuilt!
why are picturing a person holding a cigar? given present medical knowledge on which we all depend for our life, he is violating a torah prohibition according to many distinguished poskim.
Pretty good picture.
1. Cigars are scary.
2. They are fun.
Be advised. Study oral cancer and laryngeal cancer. Too scary to smoke often. My oral surgeon said only 2 a year are permitted.
Who is the chassid with the cigar? Must have one many. Middos can be fun.
