Three people were confirmed dead today after a shooting at a shopping mall outside of Baltimore, Maryland. According to police, the suspected shooter is among those now dead.
An hour after the first 911 call reporting the shooting was received at 11:15 a.m., the scene was believed to be secure. Mall shoppers were being evacuated to a theater and allowed to leave if they did not witness the shooting. Read more at MSNBC.com.

Is Maryland a gun-free state? Of course it is. These shootings almost always take place in gun-free states, or in gun-free zones of a gun-permitting state.
