molotov cocktail attackThree people were injured in a Yerushalayim firebombing attack tonight.

A 27-year-old Israeli woman was moderately hurt by the Molotov cocktail, suffering burns on her body. The woman and her husband abandoned the burning car, which proceeded to roll down and hit a 20-year-old pedestrian, who was lightly hurt.

A third man was lightly injured after he tried to extinguish the car.

Police were searching for the assailants.

The woman was evacuated to the Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem, and the injured men were transferred to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center for treatment.

The attack took place near the Beit Hanina neighborhood in East Jerusalem.

It came days after a fatal firebombing in the Palestinian village of Duma in the West Bank, allegedly by Jewish extremists, killed an 18-month-old baby and left his parents and four-year-old brother badly hurt.
