nys-albanyNew York – Today’s primary elections will begin to reshape New York’s Legislature following an unusual number of retirements and challenges against Republican senators who voted to legalize toeivah marriage in 2011.

Republicans hold a slim majority in the Senate. Overall, more than 20 of 150 Assembly members and four of 62 senators retired this term, according to an AP report.

A few Republicans are testing the public’s reaction to a harassment scandal involving a Democrat in the Assembly. In the Assembly, Republicans are seeking to continue gaining on the Democrats who control the chamber.

What?! It’s only because of the corrupt Republicans, namely the corrupt in chief – Dean Skelos that we have this disgusting law!!!

“The lone Democrat to oppose the bill, Sen. Ruben Diaz of the Bronx, said, “It is unbelievable the Republican Party, the party that always defended family values … today has become a tool of the Democratic government.”
