Officials have reportedly recovered on Wednesday the body of a 2-year-old boy who was dragged into a lagoon by an alligator at Disney World in Florida the previous evening.
The parents’ initial attempts to rescue their son were unsuccessful, and search crews worked through the night to find him.
Officials said earlier Wednesday it was unlikely that the boy was still alive after such an attack. Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings identified the family of the victim as Matt and Melissa Graves of Elk Horn, Nebraska. The child’s name was Lane. Demings noted that the child’s body was found fully intact. Read more at CNN.
