39-year-old Yishai Schlissel, the radical who stabbed to death 16-year-old Shirah Banki and hurt several others in an attack at the pride parade in Yerushalayim last month, was convicted today of murder and six counts of attempted murder by the Yerushalayim District Court.

The court, in its ruling, lambasted Israeli police for knowing about Schlissel and not stopping him.

Schlissel was released from prison just weeks before the incident after serving 10 years for stabbing marchers at a 2005 pride parade in Yerushalayim. He stabbed six people at the more recent attack, where he somehow managed to avoid being detected.

Schlissel was deemed fit to stand trial, even though he ostensibly experienced a psychotic episode during his previous prison term.

The six people he wounded were named as Yarden Noy, Kfir Gil, Noam Eyal, Yael Belkin, Sagiv Satkolshtick and Sheli Bar Niv.

  1. Lock him up and throw away the Shlissel. As bad as the Toeva movement is, we are not Bais Din or Sanhedrin to kill people at will.

  2. The Israeli atheistic government spends millions of dollars advertising the toeva parade of tel aviv throughout Germany. Where are the frum Jews yelling. Arabs who killed as many as five Jews are released from prison. Even this guy shlissel got twelve years for lightly stabbing three toeva marchers while the Arab terrorists who killed two Israeli soldiers who mistakenly drove into an Arab village had their hearts pulled out in public tv. The Arabs got only ten years jail. This means even the life of an Israeli soldier is worth less than these toeva sinners. Politically correct. No normal Jew should join such a corrupt army.
