Tonight: Hespeidim for Second Yahrtzeit of Rav Elya Boruch Finkel zt”l

Tonight, a gathering will be held at Esther Gerber Hall in Lakewood, NJ, to mark the second yahrtzeit of Rav Elya Boruch Finkel zt”l, beloved maggid shiur at Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim for decades and rebbi to thousands of talmidim. On 24 Adar 5768, when he was only 60 years old, Hashem took his pure neshama. 

At the gathering, a Siyum HaShas will be made l’illui nishmaso. A video of Rav Shmuel Auerbach sharing words of tribute will be shown. Speakers will include Rav Yosef Eichenstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Rabbeinu Yaakov Yosef of Edison; Rav Eliezer Yehudah Leib Finkel, a son of Rav Elya Boruch who is now a maggid shiur in the Mir; and Rav Yechiel Spero, a close talmid of Rav Elya Boruch, renowned author, Yated Ne’eman columnist, and rebbi at Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim in Baltimore.
