bais-faigaLakewood, NJ – Thousands are expected to participate this evening in the Lakewood Cheder and Bais Faiga 46th Anniversary Dinner, which will take place at Lake Terrace Hall.

The guests of honor will be Mr. and Mrs. Dovid Kupperman. The Kuppermans dedicated Bais Faiga’s Gratter Building on Park Avenue in 1998. That building houses the primary thru second grade classes. The Kuppermans further assisted Bais Faiga in 2006 by providing funds for the purchase of an additional property that includes a dining room, five classrooms and seven tutoring rooms. The latest expansion project is taking place right behind the main Bais Faiga building, on Clifton Avenue. Mr. Kupperman is dedicating the building in honor of his wife, Mrs. Anya Kupperman. The Bais Anya building will house the junior high school classes – the seventh and eighth grades – of Bais Faiga, and will contain 20 classrooms and a multi-purpose room.

The Grandparents of the Year are Rabbi and Mrs. Yosef Feldman of Flatbush and Rebbetzin Shaindel Blumenkrantz of Far Rockaway. Also at the dinner, Rabbi and Mrs. Duvie Greisman will receive the Parents of the Year Award, Rabbi and Mrs. Naftali Kriger will receive the Avodas Hakodesh Award, and Rabbi and Mrs. Moshe Rotberg will receive the Alumnus of the Year Award.

The Lakewood Cheder and Bais Faiga are one of the largest mosdos of their kind in North America.

The dinner chairmen are R’ Itche Rosenbaum and R’ Mordechai Schron.

The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by the dinner at 7 p.m.
