Tonight: Mirrer Yeshiva’s 60th Annual Dinner

The 60^th Annual Mirrer Yeshiva Dinner will be held this evening at The Brooklyn Marriot in Downtown Brooklyn. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a shiur from the rosh yeshiva, and the dinner will commence at 6:30 p.m.

Rav and Mrs. Mordechai Aderet will receive the Kesser Torah Award; Rabbi and Mrs. Avrohom Geller will receive the Harbotzas Hatorah Award for over two decades of chinuch habonim at the yeshiva; Mr. and Mrs. Chaim Mozes will receive the Parents of the Year Award; and Rabbi and Mrs. Avrohom Salel will receive the Alumnus of the Year Award.

The dinner chairman will be Mr. Rubin Schron.

 The evening will begin with the recitation of Tehillim led by Rav Eliezer Ginsberg, rosh kollel in the yeshiva and rov of Agudas Yisroel Snif Zichron Shmuel. 

The dinner attendees, by supporting the yeshiva, will be paying tribute to the founder of the yeshiva, Rav Avrohom Kalmanowitz zt”l, his son, the rosh yeshiva, Rav Shraga Moshe Kalmanowitz zt”l, and his son-in-law, the rosh yeshiva, Rav Shmuel Berenbaum zt”l, for their mesiras nefesh and for guiding the yeshiva to become the prominent mosad haTorah that it is today.
