Rav Yehoshua Eichenstein is one of the foremost Talmidei Chachomim and Marbitzei Torah in Eretz Yisroel. He is a well-known Rosh Yeshiva for over 40 years. He is held with extremely high regard by the Gedolim, including Rav Shach, Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rav Elyashiv, Rav Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz and Rav Ahron Leib Shteinman.
Aside from his Yedias Hatorah, he is known for being a deep thinker and well-versed in contemporary issues. He is from the few Talmidei Chachomim of his age, caliber and wisdom, who makes himself accessible to the Rabbim; his phone rings all day with some of the most sensitive and intricate Shaylos of the Klal and the Prat.
The Rosh Yeshiva was born in St. Louis and became one of the prize Talmidim of Harav Yitzchak Hutner zt”l.
His Yeshiva in Yerushalyim, Yad Ahron, is a very high level Yeshiva for Bochurim looking to grow in their Havana and Amkus Halimud along with Yiras Shamayim and Tikun Hamidos.
The Lakewood, NJ, community will be fortunate to have Rav Eichenstein visit starting from tonight until after Shabbos.
Talmidim and close friends of the Rosh Yeshiva are making a Parlor meeting tonight, the 6th of February, at 7:30pm, to benefit the Yeshiva, at the home of R’ Binyomin Auerbach, 51 Birch St. Lakewood NJ.
