LIVE, TONIGHT ON MATZAV.COM.
Tonight, Tuesday evening, is the culmination of the TOGETHER/Miracles Auction, a months-long effort by the volunteers of RCCS, and the actual prize drawing, which will take place over a several-hour simulcast, beginning at 7:00PM. More than 50 fabulous prizes worth hundreds of thousands of dollars will be awarded over a phone and web simulcast, direct from the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society (RCCS) headquarters in Brooklyn, NY. In addition, the Grand Prize of $30,000 cash plus the Split-the-Pot Mega Prize, expected to surpass $350,000, will be awarded as well.
Shloime Gertner from London will join a long list of Jewish entertainers who have dedicated this evening on behalf of the over 1,100 cancer-stricken families helped each year by RCCS, the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society.
This year’s event promises to be an evening of inspiration and chizuk, including the riveting, personal stories of cancer survivors. The line-up includes popular inspirational speakers: Charlie Harary, Esq, Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi, and Mordechai Weinberger, LCSW. The evening will also feature special messages by Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky and Harav Yissocher Frand.
You can watch or listen to the entire simulcast Tuesday, November 26, from 7-midnight (and beyond), by calling 1 877 332 2808 or by logging on to www.rccsauction.org where you will be inspired and entertained by a slew of special guests, including Yossi Green, who will compose a new song, live, on-the-spot.
Yossi Zweig of the Z Report/Nachum Segal Network will emcee the musical aspect of the evening together with a slew of leading singers, including special guests from Israel and the Hamizamrim singers, all accompanied by the Sympinny Orchestra. The entire evening is being coordinated by Gershy Moskowitz. These stars in the world of Jewish music have combined their unique talents to benefit the over one thousand cancer patients annually being assisted by RCCS, the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society.
The annual RCCS auction is an ongoing source of inspiration for cancer survivors and their families, as well as a crucial source of charitable funds to help cancer-stricken families. Auction participants, by opening their hearts and their wallets, help to defray the outrageous insurance premiums and treatment costs of cancer patients of all ages who would otherwise be forced to choose between substandard medical treatment (or none at all), and abject poverty.
Since 1997, RCCS, the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society, has been “Funding Miracles” by providing an array of services for cancer-stricken patients in need. Primary among these life-saving programs is the subsidizing of health insurance premiums, enabling these patients to obtain the best possible medical care.
