Lakewood, NJ – Tonight, Keren Even Habochen Ner Moshe will present aninspiring evening for women and girls titled “In Hashem’s Hands.” The guest speaker will be Reb Gavriel Sassoon, whose unwavering emunah and bitachon since the tragic passing of seven of his children in a fire at their Flatbush home have inspired Jews across the globe.
Reb Gavriel will share memories of his children and how he responded to this daunting nisayon while davening for the recovery of his wife, Mrs. Gayle Sassoon, and their daughter, Tziporah.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Reb Yosef Semah.
The event will feature an original melody, with visual accompaniment, in memory of the Sassoon children, Eliane, Rivkah, Sara, Dovid, Yehoshua, Moshe and Yaakov.
The gathering will take place tonight at Ateres Chana Hall at Bais Faiga, located at 350 Courtney Road. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. The program will start at 7:30 p.m. Suggested minimum donation is $18.

The event is being arranged and hosted by Keren Even Habochen-Ner Moshe, the renowned chazarah program founded at Bais Medrash Govoah two decades years ago by yungeleit who recognized the utmost importance of chazarah, reviewing that which one has learnt. Yungeleit from participating chaburos take a rigorous closed-book exam on the material studied each month and are rewarded monetarily based on their level of achievement on the exam.
Keren Even Habochen, which has received the support of roshei yeshivos and rabbonim from across the country, has grown from an initial enrollment of a handful of chaburos to an enrollment of 700 yungeleit in 40 chaburos and an annual budget of over $450,000. During the last two decades, Even Habochen has administered thousands of bechinos on virtually every miktzoah in Shas.
