Tonight, Vaad L’Hatzolas Nidchei Yisroel, the organization that has breathed spiritual life into countless Jews scattered across the Former Soviet Union (FSU), will be holding its Hakoras Hatov Dinner at Ateres Chaya Hall in Brooklyn. At the dinner, the Vaad will pay tribute to Rav Matisyahu Salomon, mashgiach of Bais Medrash Govoah, upon his decade of devotion as nosi of the Vaad.
The dinner will also honor Lakewood Mayor R’ Menashe Miller, who will receive the International Service Award.
The Hachzokas Torah Award will be presented to Mr. and Mrs. Yechiel Saltz.
The dinner chairman is Avi Schron.
