Torah Vodaas Roshei Yeshiva to Address Lakewood Reception Tonight

Tonight, Lakewood residents will have the opportunity to attend a unique event which will be graced by four renowned talmidei chachomim. Yeshiva Torah Vodaas’ first alumni gathering in the city of Lakewood will be attended by Rav Moshe Wolfson, mashgiach of the yeshiva, and the roshei yeshiva, Rav Yosef Savitsky, Rav Yisroel Belsky and Rav Yisroel Reisman.

“This event will be an all-encompassing one and there will be something for everyone,” one of the organizers told Matzav.com today. “For the lamdanim, Rav Savitsky will deliver an in-depth shiur kloli at Beth Medrash Govoha at 6:30 p.m. Then, at 8:15 p.m., at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Ari Stern, located at 227 Autumn Road, Rav Moshe Wolfson will share divrei mussar for Chodesh Elul. That will be followed by a unique shiur during which residents of the Ihr HaTorah will be able to ask questions on all of Daled Chelkei Shulchan Aruch to one of the gedolei haposkim, Rav Belsky. At 10 p.m., Rav Yisroel Reisman, one of the most sought after speakers and maggidei shiur, will deliver an inspiring drasha on preparing for the Yom Hadin.”

At tonight’s event, divrei bracha will be given by Rav Yeruchem Olshin, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha.

A hot buffet will be catered by Greenwald Caterers.

Organizers say that this unique gathering will be the first of many that Yeshiva Torah Vodaas plans on making in Lakewood to maintain a kesher with many of their alumni who live in the city.
