Two men in Toronto dug a mysterious tunnel to create an extensive bunker that is 30 feet long, 6 feet tall, and nearly 3 feet wide. However, as curious as the project sounds, police announced Monday that the men built the tunnel system for “personal reasons.”
During weeks of investigating the bunker, which was discovered in mid-January, police found a gas-powered generator, a poppy affixed to a rosary, a sump pump, and food and drink in the space. However, the bunker doesn’t appear to be a threat to Toronto residents.
“Investigators have verified their account and are satisfied there was neither criminal intent nor any threat to the people or city of Toronto,” police said in a statement. Read more at CTV.

this appears to be a fairly sophisticated job. How did the authorities miss it’s construction??
