candle-small6Lakewood, NJ – It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Yocheved Abraham a”h, a 2-1/2-year-old girl who was hit by a vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on Eleventh Street, between Clifton and Madison Avenues.

The young girl was a daughter of Rabbi Yakov and Mrs. Sora (Hirsch) Abraham.

A driver pulling a van into a driveway accidentally hit the girl, who was walking with her father and four-year-old sister. Hatzolah responded and found the girl in traumatic arrest. She was immediately taken to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, formerly Kimball Medical Center, on River Avenue in Lakewood, but the paramedics’ efforts were to no avail.

Umachah Hashem dimah mei’al kol ponim.

Levaya details will be posted when they become available.

Update: The levaya will take place at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel off of East 7th Street in Lakewood, NJ, at 7 p.m.

3rd child niftar in 4 days from 3 corners of the world R”L

Yes it brings tears of mourning to me & I cannot stop crying. what about you? do you feel the pain of our brothers (his Parents) loss & this horrific tragedy? That’s the major problem today, whenever tragedy strikes R”L we think about it for a minute & then we forget about it like it never happened.

When will we start to really CARE for our brothers? these tzaros are so tragic & painful to bear… can we possibly just walk by & not do something about it?

maybe we should stop & say some tehillim-whenever we hear a need for our brothers in klal yisroels help (even if hes a Zionist…)-or perhaps we should each make a cheshbon Hanefesh & ask ourselves why Hashem would put us in a zman of non-stop tragedies. Do YOU or your parents ever remember a generation like today of NON-STOP TZAROS that goes from 1 to the next every day?

May this post help us change & be a zechus for his neshama to have an aliya

So sad it happened & such a big loss to klal yisroel, her nashama was pure & holy.

may we all return to Hashem so we can avoid these tzaros from coming upon us in klal yisroel.

May her neshama hav an Aliya & may her family be comforted
