A train derailed during rush hour in New York at Penn Station on Monday, the second incident of its kind at the hub in fewer than two weeks, officials said. At least one person was injured in the derailment of the New Jersey Transit train, which required passengers to be evacuated from all cars. Services on the route were suspended into and out of the station.

The train, according to witnesses, bumped and shook before stopping. The other derailment affected an Amtrak Acela train on March 24. The accident caused minor injuries. On Jan. 4 more than 100 people were hurt when a Long Island Rail Road train crashed into a bumper in Brooklyn. Read more.
