Trial of Menachem Stark’s Murderer Gets Underway

The trial of the man accused of the brutal murder of Williamsburg real estate developer Reb Menachem Stark z”l began yesterday in Brooklyn State Supreme Court.

Prosecutors described how Kendel Felix, a carpenter who had once done work for Reb Menachem, and some of his cousins abducted him to shake him down for money.

Felix, 28, faces life in prison if convicted.

The primary evidence against him is a videotaped confession, parts of which were played during pretrial hearings. The trial is expected to run throughout September.

  1. I thought Menachem Stark was in the Nursing Home / Residential Care Facilities business, I didn’t know he was a real estate developer.
