Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said he will renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with 45th President-elect Donald Trump if and when the time comes. Trump has said he intends to change or entirely scrap NAFTA, calling it the worst trade deal in the history of the United States.

“I think it’s important that we be open to talking about trade deals,” Trudeau said. “If the Americans want to talk about NAFTA, I’m more than happy to talk about it.” NAFTA was signed in 1994. It binds 530 million consumers throughout Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Trudeau has also said he called Trump to congratulate him on his Tuesday victory. Read more at YAHOO NEWS.
