President Donald Trump is blocking the release of some documents about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, while allowing the disclosure of about 2,800 documents. According to White House officials, some documents are being withheld due to national security concerns. Officials will use a six-month review period to determine whether those could be released.

“The remaining records will be released with agency-proposed redactions on a rolling basis in the coming weeks,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement. “The President has demanded unprecedented transparency from the agencies and directed them to minimize redactions without delay.” Trump had initially said that all of the files would be released. Read more.

  1. This is funny. Any continued cover-up will only exacerbate the conspiracy theorists already wild imagination. Trump himself, is one of those wacky conspiracy people. HE was the baby who accused Ted Cruz’s father in having a hand in the killing.

  2. Typical AP fake news reporting with a false headline. It was not Trump who is blocking the release of some documents but as they themselves said that Trump had “no choice but to keep others secret because of national security concerns” “bending to CIA and FBI appeals. He placed those files under a six-month review.” The CIA and FBI need more time to remove and/or change incriminating stuff against them. The legal government mafia hasn’t changed much since then.

  3. People have no patience. The President gave the intelligence community 180 days to justify every single redaction they made. Any redaction they can’t reasonably justify will be disapproved and released.

You conspiracy nuts have waited 54 years, you can wait another 6 months. Even then, I doubt the crazies will be satisfied.
