trumpDonald Trump says Democratic primary front-runner Hillary Clinton’s regular absences from the campaign trail are a sign that she doesn’t have the “stamina” to be president.

“She goes out and she sees you guys for about 10 minutes, she sees you for a little while, it’s all rehearsed and staged,” Trump said in an interview broadcast Sunday on Fox News’ “Media Buzz.”

“They’ll pick a couple of people out of the audience that are like, you know, 100 percent. She’ll sit around a little plastic table, they’ll talk to the people for a while. It’s ridiculous,” he added.

“And then she goes away for five or six days and you don’t see her. She goes to sleep.”

The Republican primary front-runner said the former secretary of State “does not have the strength of stamina” to handle the rigors of the presidency.

“I’m saying she’s not strong enough. No, no, not a health issue, I say she’s not strong enough to be president. We need a president who can go 24 hours a day seven days a week – she can’t do it,” he said.

“She just goes away,” he added. “You need somebody who can go all the time, because our country is in such trouble, I mean, we don’t have the choice of saying let’s take five days off.”

Trump has used a similar line of attack against GOP primary rival Jeb Bush, calling the former Florida governor “weak” and “low-energy.”
