Donald Trump Jr. mocked outgoing Sen. Al Franken after he announced his resignation on Thursday by invoking one of the former comedian’s “Saturday Night Live” most well-known characters.
“…because I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and God-darnit people like me. #Franken,” Trump Jr. tweeted. The quote is a reference to Franken’s “SNL” character Stuart Smalley, who hosted the show’s mock segment “Daily Affirmations With Stuart Smalley.”
Franken also wrote a book in character as Smalley, titled “I’m Good Enough, I’m Smart Enough, & Doggone It, People Like Me!” Read more at The Hill.

Kol haposel, b’mumo posel
Al Franken reminds me of someone that I saw on tv before I became frum, real frum.
Is there room for the great leaders of tomorrow their greatest friends? Donald Junior is big. I can not wait to watch him grow. Maybe Al Franken will be making fun of him too soon. People never shut up.
People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Can’t blame Don Jr. for mocking Franken after bashing his father and Moore in his resignation speech.
