President Donald Trump said Friday that his newest White House legal hire, Rudy Giuliani, “started yesterday” and that he would “get his facts straight,” the Daily Beast reports. On Wednesday, Giuliani said that Trump had reimbursed his longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, for the $130,000 used as hush money. Trump said Giuliani was “learning the subject matter… he is a great guy. He knows it’s a witch hunt… that’s what he knows.”
The president also said he would “love to speak [to special counsel Robert Mueller] because we’ve done nothing wrong.” “We’re going to be treated fairly… right now it’s a pure witch hunt,” he said while boarding Marine One on Friday.
Trump also suggested a time and place has been established for his meeting with North Korea’s leader. “I have the date.  I have the location.  It’s all agreed to,” the president said on-board Air Force One.
