Trump Wins Northern Mariana Islands Caucus, Picks Up 9 Delegates

Donald Trump has won the Republican winner-take-all caucus in the Northern Mariana Islands, picking up nine pledged delegates, The Hill reports.

Trump won 73 percent of the total 471 votes cast in the remote U.S. territory today followed by Ted Cruz, with 24 percent; John Kasich, at .02 percent; and Marco Rubio, at .01 percent.

Five states will be voting today, with 99 Republican delegates up for grabs in Florida, 69 in Illinois, 52 in Missouri, 72 in North Carolina and 66 in Ohio in the race to 1,237 for the nomination. Florida and Ohio are winner-take-all.
