The Senate will move in the coming days on David Friedman’s nomination to serve as President Trump’s ambassador to Israel, a Senate panel announced, THE HILL reports.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has scheduled Friedman’s hearing for Thursday, adds The Hill.
That comes a day after Trump is slated to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu at the White House. Trump nominated Friedman, a bankruptcy lawyer, in mid-December.

I don’t remember any hearing on Dan Shapiro when Obama appointed him.
He was. See this link here: http://www.pomed.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Confirm-Hearings1.pdf.
