The TSA hit a new record on Friday when they found 65 firearms in carry-on bags-the most ever in a single week.
The previous record of 50 came just a few weeks before.
Authorities say that 54 of this past week’s guns were loaded.
The record, while no reason to celebrate, did result in some interesting stories. One passenger (who was arrested) had a gun strapped to his prosthetic leg. In addition to the guns, the TSA reports having found 12 tasers, three toy grenades, and “a lot of sharp pointy things” this week. Remember: keep your pointy things in a checked bag.
