Fox News wasted no time in replacing departing on-air personality Bill O’Reilly, announcing Wednesday it will move Tucker Carlson into O’Reilly’s 8 p.m. timeslot.
The network said beginning April 24, Carlson’s Tucker Carlson Tonight series will replace the network’s top rated series The O’Reilly Factor, after O’Reilly was dismissed from Fox News Wednesday amid harassment allegations.
The network’s 5 p.m. series The Five will replace Tucker Carlson Tonight at 9 p.m. Special Report with Brett Baier will fill the 5 to 7 p.m. timeslot trough May 1 when a new one-hour program hosted by Eric Bolling debuts, according to Fox News. Read more.
