Turkey has arrested almost 600 terror suspects, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Shabbos. The country has ramped up efforts to combat ISIS, with warplanes targeting the terror group and the Kurdistan Worker’s Party, which the government believes is exploiting ISIS efforts.
The PKK reportedly assassinated two Turkish police officers Wednesday and a Turkish soldier was killed by ISIS militants this week in border clashes.
“We will not stay silent in the face of those who kill our police officers in their sleep,” Davutoglu said. Read more at CNN.
