Turkey Releases Russian Plane Warnings

The New Comparative Advantages: Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of TurkeyTurkey released audio recordings of what are allegedly repeated warnings from the military to the pilot of a Russian plane that was shot down this week.

The recordings demonstrate that the pilot was told a number of times that the plane was approaching Turkey’s airspace.

According to the recordings, there is seemingly no response from the Russian pilot.

Turkey shot down the plane on Tuesday, after the military claimed it had crossed over into its airspace. However, a surviving Russian pilot from the plane alleged that there were no warnings. Read more.
