Two Turkish nationals accused of attacking American demonstrators outside the Turkish Embassy in Washington, D.C., during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit last month were arrested Wednesday, according to a Fox News report.

One suspect, Eyup Yildirim, was apprehended in Manchester, N.J., and the other, Sinan Narin, in McLean, Va. Both arrest warrants were executed by U.S. Marshals in coordination with the Metro Police Department in Washington.

A State Department official told Fox News they had to wait for these charges before they could “kick them out of the country.” Read more at Fox News.
