U.S. Will Not Ban Laptops in Airplane Cabins

The Department of Homeland Security will not expand its ban on laptops in the cabins of U.S.-bound flights, officials said today. DHS said “enhanced” measures at airports will screen laptops and tablets for explosives.

Back in May, Matzav.com report that U.S. officials told their European officials that a laptop ban was imminent. The proposal was delayed and finally shelved. Read more here.
