New Yorker’s logging into their Uber app to summon a driver can now see the possible future, thanks to the program’s new ‘de Blasio’s Uber’ tab. The tactic, which shows extremely long waits or no drivers at all, is in response to upcoming legislation the mayor is trying to pass.
De Blasio wants to minimize Uber’s growth to 1 percent during a traffic congestion study and will end late next year.
