Tensions between the Ukraine and Russia have escalated to a new fever pitch. Ukraine has announced that it will mobilize its military reserves and has called on them to report to their stations immediately.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said “This is actually a declaration of war to my country.”
Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin was granted authority by his government to send troops into the Ukraine.
On Sunday, hundreds of Russian reportedly surrounded the Ukrainian military base at Perevalne on the Crimea peninsula. Others are reportedly digging trenches at the narrow land crossing between Crimea and rest of Ukraine. Read more at Washington Post.

When I looked at the image of the soldier standing in front of the Russian flag with his gun against the white background, I thought at first I saw a swastika on the flag. That might actually be more than a photo-faux-pas. Maybe There is a blame in the universe that is beyond Russian imperialism. This could be a new Nazi-like agenda in the heresy of a pagan nation’s leader whose own hands are probably tarnished in the blood of many innocents. Never Again.
