Unique Chol Hamoed Learning in Yerushalyim: Yarchei Kallah Sukkas Shalom led by Rav Yitzchak Berkovits

rav-yitzchok-berkowitzYear after year, thousands of Yidden follow the example of our ancestors and make their way from the Diaspora to spend Sukkos in Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh. The spiritual experiences they encounter during their visits infuse them with kedusha and a yearning for gadlus, inspiring them to rise above the mundane challenges they face upon their return to chutz laaretz.

This year, olei regel will be treated to an experience during Chol HaMoed, which will truly enrich their lives. Yarchei Kallah Sukkas Shalom, under the leadership of HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Berkovits has been established to give visitors to Yerushalayim a unique learning opportunity. Participants will study the highly relevant sugya of Genevas Daas.

The Yarchei Kalla will be held in Minyan Avreichim Sanhedria Murchevet, in close proximity to neighborhoods such as Ramat Eshkol, Sanhedria, Gush 80 and Sorotzkin. Following breakfast, a learning Seder will take place. Participants will study Marei Mekomos on the sugya alongside celebrated talmidei chachomim.

Rav Berkovits, renowned for his fascinating and relevant Halacha shiurim, will treat the olei regel to an interactive shiur from 11:30-12:00 on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of Chol HaMoed. Participants will glean practical guidance that will surely enhance their outlook on life’s vicissitudes.

Yarchei Kallah Sukkas Shalom is co-sponsored by Linas HaTzedek: The Center for Jewish Values and The Yesharim Foundation for Ethical Law.

The Yesharim Foundation is a Choshen Mishpat awareness movement, which prepares educational material and practical ethics guidance for all educational and professional backgrounds. Linas HaTzedek operates a network of kollelim throughout Eretz Yisrael, which study Halachos Bein Adom L’Chavero.

Both have earned sterling reputations and warm endorsement from the Gedolei HaDor for their unique efforts in raising sensitivity to the delicate sugyos Bein Adom L’Chavero and Choshen Mishpat respectively.
