any Jew who voted for Cymbrowitz over Akselrod according to halacha should be placed in cherem (for multiple reasons 15, 17, 18 and arguably 4, and 7).
Unfortunately, Cymbrowitz got most of his votes from the NON Frum residents. All the Sefardie Bnei Torah that I know, voted for Axelrod. Its really a shame that we allow this walking talking Chillul Hashem to be in a position of “power” right in the heart of one of the Frummest neighborhood.
if every Orthodox Jew who voted for Cymbrowitz would have voted for Axelrod, Axelrod would have won.
