Video: US Ambassador Dan Shapiro Visits Mir Yerushalayim

[Video below.] United States Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro visited Yeshivas Mir-Yerushalayim today and was given a tour of the yeshiva‘s various botei medrash and buildings by Rav Nachman Levovits and Rav Binyomin Carlebach before meeting the new rosh yeshiva, Rav Leizer Yehuda Finkel, son of the late rosh yeshiva, Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel zt”l.

The ambassador, during his tour, sat down in one of the botei medrash to learn Gemara with some of the Mir talmidim.

He later attended a small reception at the home of the late rosh yeshiva zt”l, where he met the rosh yeshiva‘s mother, Rebbetzin Sara Finkel.
