U.S. Changes No-Fly List Rules

jfk-screener-airportThe eternally controversial no-fly list is about to get a makeover. The Obama administration plans to fix the way people can request removal from the list, which is a non-disclosed collection of 48,000 suspected terrorists.

This summer, a federal judge ruled that the policy on not telling people if or why they are on the list is unconstitutional. The government says it will now “endeavor to increase transparency for certain individuals denied boarding who believe they are on the No Fly List.” Read more at ABC News.

  1. I understand it to specify that anyone named Muhammad, Abdul, Axhqchmed, or of any variant, be immediately allowed to board any and all commercial aircraft while bypassing security screening.
